Matter Certification
ESP ZeroCode products that implement the Matter framework need to be Matter-certified, before they can be shipped in the market. We have made it as easy as possible to navigate the certification steps of the product, so you can get through Matter certification quickly. In your product development process, you can go for the Matter certification once you are happy with the hardware and software functionality of your product, and your hardware is ready to be shipped to a test laboratory for the certification testing.
Certification Procedure
The following steps are followed for the Matter certification:

| 1 | Reach out to Espressif through zerocode@espressif.com to co-ordinate for certification quotation and shipping of hardware samples. Get address details for shipping the hardware. | 2 days |
| 2 | Payment of fees to Espressif/ATL | 1 day |
| 3 | Espressif to work with ATL for Matter certification testing. ATL to upload test results to CSA | 3-4 weeks (depending upon ATL pipeline) |
| 4 | Payment of fees to CSA | 1 day |
| 5 | CSA to issue Certificate Declaration (CD) as a mark of granting of certification | 1 week |
| 6 | Submit the CD to Espressif through zerocode@espressif.com | 0 days |
| 7 | Place mass production order | 1 day |
